This Risk Disclosure explains the nature of the gAInXalpha service (operated from 19 Queen Elizabeth Street, London, Southwark, SE1 2LP, United Kingdom), the inherent limitations of AI-generated financial content, and the risks you accept when using the Service. It supplements our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Capitalised terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Terms of Service.
1. Information only
gAInXalpha is an information and education service. It is not a regulated financial advisor, broker, dealer, portfolio manager, or investment firm, and is not authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority or any other competent authority to provide regulated financial services. Nothing on the Service — including articles, forecasts, model portfolios, news summaries, AI agent commentary, charts, or ratings — constitutes investment advice, a personal recommendation, an offer or solicitation to buy or sell any financial instrument, or tax or legal advice. If you need advice, consult an appropriately qualified professional in your jurisdiction.
2. AI-generated content
Substantially all editorial output on the Service — daily articles, ticker pages, forecast commentary, portfolio narratives, news summaries, and agent responses — is produced by automated machine-learning models orchestrated by our internal AIDA (Artificial Intelligence Driven Agent) pipeline. AI systems are probabilistic and may produce content that is inaccurate, incomplete, internally inconsistent, out of date, or that contains fabricated facts, wrongly-attributed quotations, or non-existent references. Do not assume that any statement attributed to a third party (analyst, regulator, exchange, issuer, news outlet) is accurate without independent verification at the original source.
3. No service availability guarantee
The Service operates on a best-effort basis. Daily articles, forecasts, portfolio updates, and other scheduled outputs may be delayed, skipped, partially generated, or omitted on any given day for reasons including data-source outages, third-party API rate limits, model errors, deployment activity, infrastructure incidents, and operational decisions. We offer no service-level agreement, no uptime commitment, and no compensation, credit, or refund for missed, late, or partial outputs. Subscription fees buy access to the Service while it is available; they do not buy a guaranteed volume of content.
4. Forecast limitations
Quantitative forecasts are statistical estimates produced by competing models across multiple horizons. Conformal prediction bands express a calibrated statistical confidence under historical conditions; they are not guarantees, not worst-case bounds, and not a promise that an instrument’s price will remain within the band. Model competition is re-run periodically and the model selected as best on past data is not guaranteed to remain best going forward. Past performance, calibration, and hit rates do not predict future performance. Markets exhibit regime changes, structural breaks, and tail events that no statistical model fully captures.
5. Portfolio risk
Model portfolios published on the Service are research outputs, not execution recommendations and not personal recommendations within the meaning of any financial-services regulation. Holdings, weights, entry signals, and rebalance or exit signals reflect the model’s state at generation time and may not be suitable for any specific investor, risk tolerance, time horizon, or tax situation. We do not place trades, custody assets, or interact with any brokerage on your behalf. Performance figures, where displayed, are model-level and assume frictionless execution: no execution costs, slippage, spread, commissions, taxes, or borrow or financing costs are deducted. Real-world replication will differ, often materially.
6. Reference and citation risk
Cited news items, tickers, fundamentals, prices, corporate actions, and other external data are obtained from third-party providers and may be incorrect, delayed, revised after publication, or out of date by the time you view them. AI summaries may misquote sources, conflate unrelated items, or attribute claims to publications that did not make them. Confirm any material fact at the primary source (issuer filing, exchange notice, regulator publication) before acting on it.
7. User responsibility
You make every investment decision on your own judgement and at your own risk. You bear all losses that result from any decision informed wholly or partly by the Service. You agree that you will not rely on the Service as the sole basis for any transaction, allocation, or financial decision, and that you will perform your own due diligence — including consulting an authorised adviser where appropriate — before acting.
8. Jurisdictional notice
The Service is operated from the United Kingdom. It is not directed at, and must not be accessed from, any jurisdiction where its provision or your access would be unlawful, would require local registration we do not hold, or would breach local rules on the marketing of financial information. You are solely responsible for determining whether your use of the Service complies with the financial-services, tax, and consumer-protection law of the country in which you reside or access the Service.
9. No warranty
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, gAInXalpha disclaims all express and implied warranties of any kind, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness, timeliness, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. No oral or written statement, whether from gAInXalpha or any AI output produced by the Service, creates any warranty not expressly stated in our Terms of Service.
10. Liability cap
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, gAInXalpha’s aggregate liability arising out of or related to your use of the Service — in contract, tort (including negligence), under statute, or otherwise — is limited to the fees actually paid by you to gAInXalpha in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in this Risk Disclosure or in our Terms of Service excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
11. Further reading
This Risk Disclosure should be read together with Section 6 of our Terms of Service, which sets out the overall disclaimer in full, and with the methodology overview on our Science page, which describes how the forecasting models are built, validated, and compared. Where this Risk Disclosure and the Terms of Service overlap, the Terms of Service prevail.
